Rep Power: 0 | | | Nutritional Supplements I would like to know what are the best nutritional supplements to take (i.e. vitamins and fat burners)? Also are fat burners safe to take? |

Rep Power: 182 | | You don't need fat burners. The only time fat burners are helpful is when you are relatively lean looking to get leaner. Even then, I don't use them.
The only supps I really recommend for the average person are protein shakes, fish oil caps, multi-vitamin. I also take vitamin C and E.
Creatine is an effective product too. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Thanks! Individuals including personal trainers say that you need to take some type of fat burners in order to maximize your weight loss results. There is so much information out there regarding weight loss and some of it is confusing. |

Creatine is probably only useful if you do a lot of weight/strengh training and are really serious about your nutrition (you didnt say). the best thing to do first in my opinion is eating enough protein throughout the day during the days you do a weight/resistance workout before even thinking about creatine).
I've always found fat burners highly dubious anyway - never used them, however a lot of them dont seem to be backed up by any peer reviewed study. |

Supplments are just as their name implies.
A supplement to something. And that something is an already "dialed in" diet.
If your diet isn't right, supplements are of no use to you. I actually was just threatened of being banned b/c I was "preaching" about this very topic on a forum owned by a supplement company. |

Actually, the owner of the supplement company actually got involved for my side, surprisingly. Unfortunately, they also deleted all that I had posted. Guess they thought my views on the subject would negatively effect their sales. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
