Woah, relax, it's OK. First of all, that looks like more than 293 calories to me. Secondy, you don't have to eat "perfect" everyday. If you are not hungry and it's time to go to bed then you don't have to eat. If you do want a little something, eat some protein. I'm not an expert, but it looks like you had a good day to me.

well adding up all my food came up to 900 kcals and they taking away the calories which i burned [600] i was left with just 300 kcals somehow i dont think thats enough when the minimum you should have a day 1200 .

Be Kind to Yourself

Give yourself a break, girl - it may not be many calories for a whole day but you ate well, you ate breakfast and you did some exercise. Instead of seeing it as a failure, give yourself a pat on the back for doing as well as you did while having such a busy day. And good for you for writing about it instead of eating badly at the end of the day. Take care. Heather

You probably didn't burn 600 cals walking your dogs on the beach, either... although you walked a long time, it wasn't (likely) a sustained pace where your heart rate was way up there... more likely a fairly leisurely pace with some stops to let the dogs go in the water?

If I were you I'd go for higher than 1200 a day, especially if you are active, and depending on how tall you are and how much you weigh.

Nope i didnot stop really and it was 2 1hr walks so i was going pretty fast power walking style and also the dog had her leash on the majority of the team and shes much faster than anyone i know lol

im 5:11 and weigh about 200 lbs .. i used a few of the online calculaters to find out how many i burned and just went off them .

The 1200 minimum is how many calories you consume, regardless of your exercise. When losing weight, if you counted all the calories you burn with exercise, and you natural calorie burning from walking round the house, digesting food and keeping you body going etc, you will burn more than you consume. That's how you lose the weight.

Aim to eat the 1200 calories of food [if thats what you are comfortable with, although it is a very low amount], and do as much cardio exercise as you feel comfortable with, keep it regular. If you then become genuinely hungry during the day, eat something healthy till you are no longer hungry.

Hope this has helped, Mike.
