Carb Junkie Needs Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

As the title really, wanting to shed a few pounds, but i find that come meal time that i am eating far too much carbs.

Trouble is i don't seem to be full unless i have eaten a load of potatoes/pasta/rice etc. I am not looking for a an atkins style deit, i think i just need to be cutting down on the amount of carbs i am having, just seems so damn hard as i love my rice and pasta!!! Anyone any ideas as to how i can still maintian that full feeling at mealtimes without consuming as much carbs as usual?

Sure....first, carbs really offer very little nutritional value...expect maybe fiber?? they are high in calories and dont (as you mentioned) fill ya up!

If I were you...I'd eat rice or potatoe w/dinner only...then I'd have nice lean cut of meat or chicken to go with it, and of course lots of veggies. I'm sure you'll get full with that!!

I've found a supplement called 5-htp really helps me with that! I wrote about it in my journal - just click the supplement link down in my signature. I'm really having success with it - maybe it could help you too.
