Rep Power: 298705 | | | I'd stop mopping yourself -- especially your face with a towel - and keep your hair off your face...
with regards to the breakouts on your back -have you changed laundry detergent recently? and is your tshirt that you wear to the gym - on with wicking action or is it just a plain old sweat absorbing t?
Is there any time where you really notice the breakouts?
you sure there's nothing in pills you're taking that doesn't agree with your body? natural doesn't always mean good for you... I have a lot of sensitivities to "fillers" that are in a lot of vitamins...

Rep Power: 2468 | | | It might be that your body is detoxing or something... like exiting through your pores when you sweat. that's my only guess in which case you just have to wait it through.

Rep Power: 321 | | I guess I'll add my two cents here since I had this problem recently too.
I've gone through everything from washing my face 10 times a day to not washing my face but every 2 days...trying this cream and that wash and this pill and that plan. Nothing worked. Up until recently, I was seeing more than my fair share of outbreaks mostly on my face. It's gotten worse since my birth control is injectable and I do not have regular periods any longer. I, on a whim, tried using emu oil on my face 1-2 times daily. It's been 10 days. My face is entirely clear. I purchased the refined item off of ebay for $7 expecting that it wouldn't work. Years ago I used a makeup that was emu oil based and my skin was perfect. Since I've ceased using that makeup (too busy for makeup where I work), it's stopped being produced and my skin went back to hell. So, I tried just the oil and it's made drastic improvements. I also hear that tea tree oil will do the same thing...but I can attest to the emu oil working. You might give it a shot. It's rumored to do other things too such as improve skin tone, make you look younger, reduce inflammation, etc. Do research before trying it...but it's worked for me

Rep Power: 231 | | | I'd agree that it's likely to be a detox reaction. Keep waiting and it will clear up, and you'll have even better skin.
OR you could add in a bit of junk food and 'wean' off it.
OR it could be totally unrelated and you're just going through a hormonal patch.

Rep Power: 215782 | | | I have skin problems and the sweat tends to react with my skin. Im with Mal on this. I use half my towel to wipe off sweat, and i squirt my water bottle on the other half to actualy wash my face a couple of times during exercise.
However also as somebody said, could be detox also, or an allergy to something you normally dont eat in large quantities. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
