Rep Power: 0 | | | In desperate need of breakfast ideas! I am in serious need of ideas for breakfast. I have eaten eggs almost every morning for the last 3 weeks. I'm getting pretty tired of eggs! I need a good source of lean, unprocessed protein and a complex carb. I LOVE fruit so coming up with those isn't hard at all. It's the protein component I'm having trouble with. Thanks! |

Rep Power: 217 | | | i've posted this one a bunch of times... but a good grab and go one is a whole wheat tortilla (la tortilla factory makes a low calorie very high fiber one that doesnt taste awful) give it a schmear of peanut butter or other nut butter (under 2tbs) a sprinkle of cinnamon and a banana - and roll it up..
Slice it up and you've got a great high protein, high fiber, and lots of other vitamins to go.. (and if you make it the nigth before -just wrap in cling wrap and the banana stays fresh |

Rep Power: 18 | | | My breakfast usually consists of:
Eggs (sometimes cooked but usually raw)
Various protein shakes
Oatmeal w/pb and/or whey
Natural PB and sugar free jam sandwich
On weekends I branch out. Oatmeal pancakes, cooked eggs, maybe an omelet of some sort.
Like mal said though, eat what you want. I know people that eat a can of tuna for breakfast. |

Rep Power: 18 | | Oh I also make these bars with oatmeal, natural PB, chocolate whey, and honey. They are really good especially if you are in a hurry. I don't have the recipe at work though. |

Rep Power: 7 | | My breakfast changes from time to time but right now I am eating a cup of Honey Bunches of Oats, a piece of fruit (banana this week since they go bad quickly and I have a bunch of them) and a yogurt. Sometimes I try to eat a little more so I can make sure I get my daily calories but usually this is the basic format of my breakfast. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
