Honestly, in my opinion, if you're going to drink beer, then drink REAL beer. Drinking light beer (for me) leaves me unsatisfied, really. Then I feel like I've wasted
calories on something that was nothing more than flavored water.
If I decide I'm going to have a beer or a drink, I figure those
calories into my daily plan and I enjoy the ever-livin'-heck outta them. For example, a bottle of Newcastle has 150
calories. A bottle of Guinness is 125
calories. I can fit 150 - 300
calories (2 bottles of beer) into my day with a little tweaking. It might mean eating my burger open faced or even w/out a bun ... but sometimes it's worth it to me. Otherwise, I'd rather just drink iced tea or water than drink light beer.
That's just my opinion, of course.
