Rep Power: 0 | | Green tea is an excellent thing to drink. I recommend having some every day. Celestial Seasonings have a raspberry green tea that tastes so good. Yum!

Rep Power: 0 | | I usually try to drink at least a mug of green tea everyday... it helps to boost your metabolism, which is why it is good for promoting weight-loss, and is also very low in calories (if it has any). Some people use pills, but I really like the taste of it, so I just drink some in the evenings or whenever...
you do want to be careful with the flavored teas, b/c sometimes they add in extra sugars... au natural green tea can be found anywhere, and while I drink it plain, a little bit of honey tastes fantastic with it. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Thanks for the suggestions! I love plain green tea too. I just stopped drinking it and replaced it with water, but maybe I'll start having a cup every day. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I've gotten the green tea instant stuff b4 like crystal light. it was labeled as having antioxidants. is that just as good? zero sugar, very low calories. they say while dieting drink tons of water. well what about adding those flavored packs to your drink? Im sippin on Peach tea right now. i sit at a desk all day and its hard to drink a gallon of water. get tired fo the flavor and alil natious. Fl water isnt all that great. any answers would be appreciated.

Rep Power: 20 | | My friend and I began drinking green tea recently after hearing that it is beneficial to your health and helps with weight loss. I understand drinking 3 or more cups per day is optimum. We brew it, then chill it and drink it as iced tea.
I always throw out links to visit, and here is another one: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?p...spice&dbid=146. This link was actually referenced on Wikipedia (the free encyclopedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_tea).
It is a very long article; scroll down to Promotes Fat Loss or Increases Exercise Endurance. It states it lowers LDL cholesterol and triglycerides (one of my problems). The article does not endorse any particular brand.
Beware! It has a diuretic effect when you first start drinking it, so have a bathroom handy. I also read on that site it can interfere with iron absorption. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Green Tea For Healthy Living I drink all sorts of teas but I also drink coffee and mostly water and my metabolism has never been higher. Being sick has never been a problem for me as I believe the tea is better than people think. I have lost 6 pounds since starting to drink green tea two months ago.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Green Tea: Does it work? Hello, everyone!
I notice that someone else started a thread a while ago about green tea. I recently bought a box of Mega-T Green Tea capsules to boost my metabolism and help with my weight loss. I'm not expecting a miracle pill, but I'm curious to know if green tea helps, and how much. I've read all of the information on Green Tea and the Mega-T capsules, but has anyone else ever used them? Do they help? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks!

Rep Power: 0 | | | I doubt a capsule would do anything. Maybe drinking real green tea, on a regular basis, would have a positive effect. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Green Tea I really only tried the pill for about a month and did not see a difference in body fat percentage. For the past year though I drink green tea consistently and have never felt better. It seems like feeling fit and healthy, maintaining 6% body fat, and staying away fromthe sick bug has not been a problem for me since drinking green tea for weight loss. I first did not like the taste of green tea or any tea by that matter but now I drink tea every day. ***SORRY. YOUR LINK HAS BEEN DISABLED.***

I took them and they do in fact help but not in the way expected. They gave me the energy to go workout. When I got home from work instead of being burnt out I wanted to go exercise cause my body and mind were awake. Make sure you do take them in the morning with a FULL glass of water. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | How true is the 'green tea boosts metabolism' thing? I heard the same about a B complex vitamin, is it true? |

Rep Power: 0 | | Green Tea...Gotta Love it I love green tea. It does help you loose weight. It has thermogenic properties. What you eat though does matter. Most caffeine products raise you 5-25% above your resting metabolic rate. N
That's not very much, but if you use them religously then you will see results. Green Tea is natural. You can take it before meals just like any other fat burner, but without side effects like rapid hard beat. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Green tea is great!
It helps you to boost your energy, and it is a great antioxidant.
Gren tea can help you to lose some weight.
But if you want to lose weight you need to have a plan. Just drinking tea or taking some pills in the long run wound not work | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
