Restaurants and Calories

I am calorie counter; therefore, I am always worried when eating out. If you go to subway's website, you can get a nutritional guide pertaining to all of their products. You will see a list of calories, fat, vitamins, sodium, etc.

Just thought you'd like to know.

many of the chain restaurants do provide nutrition info.. and some like Quiznos.. do not guess which places i will go to..

I think it's like being in the jewelry store.. if you have to ask the cost. you can't afford it

I've actually stopped going to subway because the sodium is so high on most of their items

Me too! Granted, it seems sodium is HIGH everywhere so I do my best to plan ahead and not need to 'stop' in for a quickie meal.

My family doesn't go out to eat very often, maybe once a month or every other month, so I have to let myself know that as a calorie counter, I sometimes will have 'holes' in the numbers, and that's ok...it's about learning to make better choices overall and reducing my portions on the nights where I don't know what the exact numbers are.

Has anyone tried Ono Hawaiian BBQ? I was craving that so bad the other day but I went to their website to find out the nutrition and it isn't up!!! But I can imagine that its very high in everything, its delicious.

I got really confused at the Subway site when trying to figure out the nutrition.
