I wish they were mine... But alas, I cannot afford to own one, so I work with them 2-3 times a week at the Equine Rescue Association and I have waaay too much fun doing that. But because of gas at $3.56 a gallon, I have to limit the amount I go out there, because it's about 20 miles away, and the milage adds up.
My school is 20 miles from my house so I drive about 40 miles on week days :|. Our gas is $3.29 though... OH!!!!!! I troted Balthazar for the first time today!!!! He did so well!!!! Me and Mom are thinking of selling him for $800.00 and Jewels for $1,000 to a friend of ours who buys horses and re-sells them. We don't care if he makes more off of them (Bal has knee issues, He's knock kneed ) so he'll be hard to sell and Jewels doesn't trailer so well. However we want to use the money from them to buy me another green horse that I can train into another show horse like D. I just don't have the time for a horse as Green as Bal right now.
Well, trailer issues can be helped, if done right.
And slight bad news, ok, pretty bad news with the horses. We were told that we have 30 days to get off the land....
riiiight... we're going to get a new place, fix it up, move 25 horses off the land, and then take down the barns we built...in 30 days. Hopefully though, it won't go through, because the guy doing this is falsely accusing us of things, and, he doesn't own the land, so he probably technically doesn't have the legal power to throw us off the land. cross your fingers that a rich angel helps us out!
Hi everyone, I love horses. I like all your photo's. Ive always wanted my own. Since Christmas I was lucky enough to meet a lady who had 2 horses, she wanted someone to ride one of them for her as she doesnt have time to ride 2. We get on so well and always ride out together. She said that I can ride him for as long as I like and he is as good as my own!! To me this is like a dream come true. I am so happy. The horses name is Cisco Joe, and he is 14.3hh and is a coloured cob. Im so pleased to me you all..its nice to have new horsey friends..keep in touch xx
Hi everyone, i tried to post on here b4 with some pictures of my pony..but..somehow it all went wrong..lol. I call him my pony..but..in actual fact I just ride him (but his owner said he is as good as mine..and i have got him long term). Its really good to meet other horsey people..i drive my hubby mad by talking about horses all the time..so its nice to have some other friends.
My one dream is to do endurance riding one day. At the moment I do long hacks..but would love to do an actual endurance event.
