Rep Power: 0 | | | Laying down after eating I've heard that if you lay down after you eat, you run the risk of a hernia. Is this true? And if so, why? |

Rep Power: 357932 | | | I started googling this yesterday and one thing I was finding is that a hiatal hernia (also known as diaphragmatic hernias — which form at the opening in your diaphragm where your food pipe joins your stomach.) can often exhibit similar symptoms of heartburn... and it's suggested that layinf down after a big meal be avoided...
Does it cause the hiatal hernia? nope...
