I was listening to a radio talk show on the way to work this morning and I though they had a pretty good idea. They were having listeners call in and vent about daily things that really piss them off. I usually need a good venting at least twice a month to relax me a little. You know, let off a little steam. There has to be alot of people on this forum who need to vent to relieve a little stress. What pisses you off more than anything? What are your pet peeves?

Mine:

1. Stupid people who think they are super intelligent but are in fact too damn dumb to know they're stupid. Does this make sense?
2. Rude people. Where the hell do people get off thinking they can treat others badly for no reason? This includes rude drivers.
3. Lazy people. Get off your ass and earn it!
4. Liars. Do I need to elaborate?
5. Hypocrisy.

I have many more but this are the biggies. Okay, I'm done.

I'm with ya on that sistah... add to that the entitlement people... people who think they are entitled to something for whatever reason.....

Oooh the entitlement people. Especially those who drive along the shoulder during rush hour to get to the front of the line. I pull my SUV onto the shoulder and block them. Man that really pisses them off. My husband thinks I going to get killed by someone with road rage because of it.

people who will never admit that they are wrong or refuse to believe there is anything wrong with a situation even when its staring them in the face.
people who take you at face value/your looks etc.
people who refuse to work(and often never have) and claim benefits when there is no reason for them to do so. they end up financially better off than the likes of myself, sitting on their a***s all day. people who have never worked and keep having kids (10,11,12 etc) and expect the state to keep them in luxury and moan constantly that they dont have enough. they usually have massive houses rent free, big cars, plasma tvs,loads of money for nights out etc etc.
people who are nice to you face, then bitch and moan about you behind your back. slim

Specific People who are pissing me off today:

Project Manager A - who decided that today would be a great day to take a vacation day, especially since we were rolling out a new workflow that he developed and never documented nor did he tell anyone what changed... Am I supposed to GUESS?

Client A - who took down their server for a new process we're using today at noon, knowng full well we had training scheduled at 1:00 so we couldn't do the training we needed, and oh yeah -we're going live wiht it tonite - and their server is still down.

My boss - who decided 10 minutes ago that I should stick around and wait for the server to come back up to train the users on what to do witht his new process.

My boss -who followed me to a user's desk to talk about something -then chewed out the user for no good reason.. then sends me a group email out about how we need to better manage our emotions in the workplace (dumbass - I'm the one the user's like -you're the one who did the chewing out)

the corporate email admin: who doesn't beleive there's a problem with email - my email stopped working this afternoon - bcause the password expired only I never got a notification that the password expired because it got caughtin the spam filter (theirs not mine) they reset my password - i changed it again like i'm supposed to -and three times I could no longer access my email - yes, i do know how to enter a freakin' password- the change function is broken. fix it.

I walked into the office in a foul mood - I didnt think it was possible for my mood to get worse - there are apparantly unexplored depths to this level of how foul tempered i can be...

Profs that give tests that take them 45 minutes to complete and only allot 50 minutes to everyone else. What do you mean you don't know why the class average was a 22.5?

Grrrr! Lazy fucking people who refuse to walk an extra ten feet to put the damn cart in the cart corral. When they are parked right next to it!!! Instead the old bitch made a huge mistake of pushing the cart right up against MY CAR (which isn't even a year old yet) and walking away. And SHE gets mad when I tell her to get her lazy ass back over there and get the damn cart off of MY car. I was so close to ramming the damn thing into her driver side door. Then I realized the police would arrest ME and not the lazy ass bitch. I hate people right now.

I don't care what title you have - you're still a moron - having a fancy title doesn't make you any less of a moron... and throwing your title around isn't going to make me do anything faster than I was - I'll get to it when I get to it...

People who are so in love with their titles are just pissing me the hell off today - and every day - prove what you know - I can call myself the Most Holy Exaulted Grand Poohbah - but it wouldn't fit on my business card, and just because I call myself something -doesn't make it so... You can be senior whomever whatever you're still a moron... (I spent too much time on Wall Street, I know how utterly useless a title is - heck I was an Assistant Treasurer at a major bank - didnt get me anywhere near money -just gave me a better cube, better name plate and more vacation... )

I get it now -if we spend half our day on conference calls listening to gasbags pontificate - then they don't have to do any real work - but dammit - you spend so m uch time gasbagging -that I don't have time to get what you want done...

I'm hating that I have to waste my Saturday (and $50 in gas) tomorrow driving to the next town over to drop off my car at the autobody shop. Then go pick it up a week later, wasting another perfectly good day off and another $50 in gas. I know it's my own fault, living in a tiny town, but geez.

SO I will leave with this thought -some people are really only alive because it's illegal to kill them... and it's damn shame I learned right from wrong... but would it be wrong to kill someone who really deserves it?

i'm way too fussy an eater to spend time in jail -not to mention people piss me off entirely too much to want to spend time i close quarters with anyone - particularly women... Solitary confinement I might consider but with my luck I'd have somoene who snores in the next cell...
