they usually give you a local anesthetic.. hospitals will rarely knock you out unless they have to... too much risk involved |

and good luck with the colonoscopy... | DING DING!!!! We have a winner. It was 8lbs. I have an analog scale so that as accurate as I can get. My procedure was postponed 1 weeks so I just got it done yesterday. I am going to eat normally (1700-1800 cal per day) for a couple of days and see how quickly I regain. My guess is that maybe 1-1.5 lb of the 8 was body mass with the rest being water weight. I would wager that I re-hydrate at least 5 lbs by tonight. I am going to see where I am at 24hrs and 48 rs respectively. |
