Guilty pleasures on the iPod?

I have some pretty dorky tunes on my iPod that I like to listen to at the gym.

"To Get Down" by Timo Maas. This was wildly popular in Europe and media outlets across the continent used it constantly. Even the BBC used it. Any Europeans here would probably recognize it instantly if they heard it, even if they don't know what it's called. It's repetitive but extremely catchy. I couldn't find it on a single so I bought the whole album it was on. And it was TOTALLY WORTH IT.

"Push It" by Garbage. It's from an old Garbage album (Version 2.0) but I like to pace myself to it on the elliptical, plus it's so loud through my headphones that it puts some people off using the machines next to me. Yeah, I'm like that. So sue me!

"Runnin' Down A Dream" by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. A lot of people swear by techno for workout music, but anything fast with a good beat will do. This song definitely qualifies. I don't care if people think it's redneck. Listen to it and imagine yourself cycling or running to its pace. It's pretty quick but not exhausting. Plus, most techno is boring.

"Knock 'Em Out" by Lily Allen. The song is hilarious, and it has a great beat for running or using the elliptical.

"Breath From Another" by Esthero. The whole album this song is on was brilliant but I find most of it to be too slow to be satisfying for working out. This one is good because the pace of the song changes from the verses to the chorus and back again, then changes yet again for the bridge. Keeping pace is fun.

"At The River" by Groove Armada. This is a good cool-down song; it's languid, repetitive, and not loud. It's also about 4 minutes long, which is about all the cool-down I usually need. You can find infinite mixes of this song.
