Rep Power: 0 | | | Valentine's Day Hey guys, I'm looking to see if any of you have any unique or fun plans for Valentine's Day tomorrow with your special someone's!
My poor FH, gets hit with Christmas, THAN my Birthday so we agreed to keep V-Day pretty low-key, just dinner. However he's really been having a heck of a time at work and pretty worn down lately, so I'd like to do a little something small to surprise him.
I would love ANY suggestions!! |

My inlaws visited this weekend and suprised us with putting a gourmet meal in our freezer to make that night. I think there's a soup, lobster, steak, stuffed potatoes, veggies and icecream. Which to me sounds like several meals. But I've never had lobster before, so I'm looking forward to that. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | What's something that your fh really enjoys doing but you don't care much for? I'd say do that if its possible. Or if you really do want to keep it simple, let him pick the restraunt, and then you pay for it (if you have seperate accounts anyways) |

Rep Power: 0 | | My husband and I decided to spend the day with our kids. Keep it very simple and fun. We aren't aloud to spend more than $5 on each other, if we want to do something else it has to be creative, I like this idea. It seems more personal to me then sitting in an overcrowded restuarant and eating high calorie foods. He agrees. Besides Valentines day is about love, why not just spending good quality time with your loved ones. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Oh I don't disagree. It is about love. I don't necessarily mean going out to BUY him something, but rather something he'll really enjoy. I mean dinner is good, and we're doing Applebees as that's what he requested. I plan on sticking a cute little valetine in his lunch I pack for him daily.. and I guess my other idea is surprising him with a visit at his office in the afternoon to give him some "fresh air" time outside. We'll see! Maybe I'll pack him a little candy treat in his lunch too. Thanks for the input guys! |

Rep Power: 0 | | My wife and I are going to a nice restaurant in dallas, III Forks. Its expensive, but we've gone there for the past 6 years on Valentine's day, so its a very nice tradition for us -- we're really looking forward to it.
This'll be my first real "cheat night" in about 4 weeks |

Rep Power: 0 | | I just remembered this, but one year, I bought a box of those kids valentine's cards (Scoobydoo if I recall right), and wrote them all to him from me and sent them to him via regular post! I sent them all in one big envelope to save on stamps, but it would have been really cool to send each of them individually |

Rep Power: 0 | | Oooh.. did I start a thread or what!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all my wonderful girls and guys supporting eachother in our weight loss efforts. YOU ALL ROCK!!! Seriously.. I wouldn't of gotten these pounds off so far by myself, as I tend to slip here and there! You are all such a wonderful support for me and everyone else here. I hope you've all had a wonderful day!! p.s. My Valentines Day plans, wound up being dinner delivered to our home so neither of us have to cook, a little dancing (y'know what I mean Hypo!) and some quiet time together! I am really looking forward to picking him up from work soon. I did get him a few little candy sweets that I know he likes, and he was very appreciative! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
