Just curious to peoples opinions and experiences on these sites?

I'm pretty bored of being single, I've not been in a solid relationship for a couple of years now, and as my life has progressed all my mates seem to have settled down, whereas i'm stuck on the single shelf (lifestory i know lol)

I just wanted to know do you think its worth paying for a site, or use the free ones (I've signed up to one, but no luck so far)
& has anyone had any luck using them?

Back before I was married when I was in my single days I tried a free one. I had a really bad experience with a girl semi-stalking me. I mean after talking on the phone with her I didn't have any desire to actually go out with her but she kept trying to call me anyways and push at least 3 times a day. I got really bad vibes from her on the phone it was kind of a creepy experience actually. Luckily she didn't know where I lived or anything because it didn't get that far so I simply changed my telephone number and was done with it. Needless to say she was very persistent.

So with that said I wasn't really happy with my experience. I have friends, however, that are very happy with them although most never turn into real relationships...more friends with benefits type deals. I'd say if you are curious just try the free ones first and see if you like it that way you don't have to worry about losing any money on the deal...Just if you do it...be careful! That's the best advice I can offer...
