Question flubber over c-section scar

I've had 2 c-sections, the first was sewn beautifuly, the second not so much. The dr pulled a stitch too tight and now there's a bit of flubber that looks like belly fat (and probably is). I just don't know if I could possibly get my tummy flat enough to smooth out this darn stitch area. Do you think it's possible? If so, can you suggest any additional exercises I can throw into my routine. Currently, I take tae kwon do 3X per week, use the Total Trainer about 2X per week and am working on running (*although a lot of my running is walking right now..oye)

TIA

My scar is lovely and neat now and suprisingly small. I can't say the same about the flubber above it!
And yay for being honeymoon fresh!!

I'd ask your doc about the scar overhang. It may not be flab at all, and may be something that would require surgery to smooth out.

I am very thankful that after my 2 sections, my scar is only about the length and width of a pencil! Not even that long, I'll bet. I remember thinking it was weird how many years went by that all of the surrounding area was numb to any sensation. It was weird. But if I had it to do over again, I would! I had a much easier recovery than my friends.

Cheers
ABBA

Mine still hurts sometimes where the stitches were pulled, mostly if I'm laying down or on my side. I probably wouldn't get surgery to fix it (big ol fraidy cat..lol) I've been afraid of surgeries since that last one (major or blunders opened my eyes to all that really can go wrong in there).

Wow, you were lucky you got stitches! They STAPLED me, and it hurt like the devil when they removed those staples! I couldn't believe it. The first time was an emergency and I was knocked out; the second time was also an unplanned section but not not an emergency, thankfully.

Cheers and feel better,
Janice
