well...of course there is the airplane, electricity, telephone, computer etc....but sometimes we overlook the "little things" that make our life cushier...

1.) the tv remote control (right now i lost the one to my tv in the basement so i have been watching the same channel while doing laundry cuz i am too lazy to walk over and change the channel)

2.) lycra (until the rest of this weight comes off i need a little help smoothing stuff out under my dress for the wedding i have to go to this weekend)

3.) coffee maker......(mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm)

4.) The Clapper (clap on, clap off, clap on, clap off..the clapper)...Just kidding on this one..but it sounded good.....

Hmm, good idea for a thread. Umm, the little things, huh?

1) NyQuil - Seriously, I mean...seriously. It's a cure-all for everything: colds, headaches, sleeplessness, etc. I love this stuff. If it was legal, I would marry it. Also, I would have sex with it.

2) Bench Scraper - As a chef, I can't tell you how amazingly awesome this tool is. Have a little dough stuck to your counter? Bench scraper. Need to square off the edge of some brownies? Bench scraper. Have a really bad itch on your crotch? Bench scra...eh, nevermind.

3) Me

4) Cold Packs - You know those little liquidy packs that you throw into your freezer so it gets really, really cold? I couldn't live without those things. I get severly painful migraines, so I can appreciate having a flexible, easy-to-fit-to-the-shape-of-my-face, freezing cold ice pack in my times of need. Plus, you can use it for sprained ankles, burns and even keeping food and drinks cold in a cooler. Yeah...awesome.

Wireless controllers. So much better than the old connected with wires ones. No worries about tangles. Makes life just that tiny bit easier.

Nothing worse than a beer getting warm on a hot day. I know, I know people are going to say drink faster but my recovery time isn't what it once was.

think about it. we are discussing about our weights with people whom we mostly do not know personally, and who for all you know are in the other corner of the world!
