Rep Power: 0 | | | Clothes Okay, I haven't loss alot of weight yet... Only 30 pounds. But I'm starting to see the difference in my clothes. What do you guys do when experiencing this problem? I don't want to go buy new clothes cause I know I will shed more pounds as the weeks go buy. Getting them tailored will be pretty pricey altogether. What do you all do?
Cause yanking my pants up all the time is starting to be a real hassle. |

Rep Power: 0 | | haha~ I've had the clothing problem for awhile (still do...)
Now I buy all my clothes with ties in the waist~ or workout pants~ you know~ with the stretchy waists~ I hardly ever wear jeans... b/c I have like... a million pairs already from sizes 22 to 12~~ all of them I can't wear now b/c they're too big~ I suggest to either get the stretchy waists or get a belt to hold you over if you loose more weight~
But I wouldn't buy jeans until you get to where you want to be~
good luck with the weight loss~ =3

Rep Power: 0 | | | If you are like my mother.. you saved every not worn out peice of clothing from the last 20 years... and should be able to find clothes in there. (Thats how I am doing it.. I am going back to clothes i wore years ago that she saved).
If your not like my mother.. use belts... or go to thrift stores and get some essencials as you go down. |

Rep Power: 217 | | I would check out places like www.freecycle.com or www.craigslist.com and either pick up stuff that people are giving away (and in turn give away some of your old stuff that's now too big for you) or even ask for some stuff that people might have... I constanly see clothes as items on people's giveaway list.
I think it's important that you wear stuff that fits you... I would think it would help keep you motivated, and if you'll feel good about yourself and if you get rid of the bigger sizes youve got another reason to stay movitvatd. |

Rep Power: 24 | | | Two words. THRIFT STORES. or places like Ross, where you can get good clothes (most of the time) for really cheap prices. That's what I'm doing, and it's working well because i'm not buying $50 pants every two months. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Aslong as you wear tops that cover your waist band, you could put safety pins inside your trousers. I pinch the material inside, and put a safety pin in on both sides of my waist. It isn't particularily neat, hence the need for a longish top, but it is better than pulling them up all the time, and will save you walking on the bottom hems all the time | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
