Yesterday i got myself a little present. Over a year ago i found a tattoo that i REALLY wanted.... it starts on your ribs and goes down to my hip. I refused to get it though until i lost at least 20 lbs. Well, i did that awhile ago... but still wanted to lose a bit more. So at 30 lbs lost i finally got my tattoo i wanted


I am going to post pics. My request is that if you are not a fan of tattoos, etc... you not reprimand me and talk about how much i will regret it someday BLAH BLAH.


this is for ME... not anyone else.... and i am very happy i got it. Someday i may be saggy, older, or not look in the best of shape after maybe some kids, life, etc..... but i am ok with that. after all.... other than my man ( who is fine with this possibility lol) who will be looking at my rib cage and hips at 50-50 years old?


Its only 1/2 done.... its fairly large and hurts like a MOFO.

wow, that's pretty impressive. it's hard to tell from the picture, is it colored in, or just black?

Its black and gray.

The roses look like they have almost a pinkish hue though because of the way your blood and plasma seperates or whatever....

Lovely. I have a photo of a tat in a similar location that's vines and autumn leaves that I have been considering for a long time. I don't know if I'm brave enough to get one that big though.

I totally love mine.... but it hurts like a bitch. I am going to have to do some SERIOUS peptalking to myself to get the 2nd half done.... it was seriously that bad.


i cried. I have a very good pain tolerance... but i shed a few quiet... sad little tears.... it was rough!

Looks really good! And nothing wrong with shedding a few tears....it's in a very sensitive area, and apart from that, I've seen big, tattoed biker dudes with tears in their eyes as they got new tattoos.....so that's alright!

Beautiful tattoo!! I'm thinking about getting one myself after I reach my goal. I want a small tattoo on my right hip and since part of yours is there I was wondering, does it hurt a lot in comparison to other parts of your body?

id say the hip was the worst part......

supposedly, when you are super tickleish... which i am, you are going to have a harder time with the tattoo there because the reason you are tickleish is because your nerve endings there are close to the surface?

thats what the dude told me... so whereever you are tickleish... its gonna hurt like a mofo
