on line college

If I don't get this job out of country after school is over I'm considering getting my bachelors in electronics. I'm kinda tired of the driving back and fourth from school and was wondering if anyone had any on line degrees and how they are really looked at by employers?

i don't have an online degree but through my school we have online courses that are offered in almost all of the core classes examples would be: Written Communications, Psychology, Math, Computer Courses, ect... you just go onto the school website and there is a chat room you can talk to fellow classmates in, theres a gradebook, everything...I would deffiently look into it as it fits into most "untraditional students" lives easier and even just students who dont like coming and sitting in a classroom setting, than driving to campus.

I am currently working on my Masters in counselling online. It isn't really the online programs that are or aren't reputable, it is the university, or the specific program. Do some research, find a school that offers a good reputable program.
It's an alright way to do it! I still work full time while I am doing it. So it's not soo bad.
Good luck!

I did quite a few of my classes online when I got my degree - mostly the basic ed stuff like college algebra *shudder*.

Like Rotten said - it's more the actual universities that are frowned on, not necessarily the way the degree is acquired. Most of the time they wouldn't even know the difference - unless they read your transcripts.
