Stir-Fried Ginger Shrimp



Spicy and peppery flavor best serve with rice or sliced melons!1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined1 teaspoon chopped peeled fresh ginger1/2 teaspoon saltDash of white pepper1/2 cup water1 tablespoon mirin (sweet rice wine)2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch1 teaspoon sugar1 teaspoon dark sesame oil1/2 teaspoon chile paste with garlic (such as sambal oelek)1 tablespoon canola oil, divided1 cup thinly vertically sliced onion4 garlic cloves, minced1 cup diagonally cut celery
