Pasta question?

Can someone help me with Regular pasta -VS- Hole wheat pasta?
I have changed all flour products in my house to 100% whole wheat.
(I hate how the bread Co. try to trick you into thinking your eating healthy wheat, but will say enriched flour!I have to be careful for the scam!..anyway)
The question is: Do you think Hole wheat pasta is better for you in moderation that Regular pasta?
Thank you for your help

I think so, as it has a little more fiber. If you're going to eat pasta anyway, might as well be whole wheat. And I love it!

The difference between the two is very small.. To answer your question, whole-wheat pasta is better than enriched pasta.

The only big difference, even though it's only a few grams difference, is the fiber. Whole-wheat has more fiber than enriched pasta, making it overall better. It also has slightly less calories too, but nothing to jump for joy about.

Avoid the whole-grain imitators such as "Wheat", "Made with Whole Grain", "Multi-grain", and "Seven-Grain". Look for the "Whole Wheat" ones.

If you dislike whole-wheat pasta you can mix enriched together with it, or buy a whole-grain blend.. I have a bag of Ronzini's Healthy Harvest in my cupboard.

reach4Astar has much to be proud of
someone told me that the whole wheat breaks down slower and keeps you satisfied longer, I love wheat and always use it, so even if it's a little better for you in the long run it adds up to a lot
