It wasn't a bad run at all. I'm a bit sick of the damn brush and cactus now though.
HR was mid 160s
This felt good.

I ran my mile this morning on a rocky track in the brush in sight of Mexico.

Wow! Way to round out the half! I've never run 6 miles. Great pace on that and the mile! You beat me by 7 seconds on that mile. I'll have to see what I can do about that. ;)
I dub the two of us...

Thanks Vee! I've been wizzing like it was going out of style so I may give you a run for your money on the new low. I'll bet you a cool million that I'll lose more than you in 2015. I've gotten much...

Awesome weigh in! Onderland, the antifudge!

Thanks LaMa! I've had some bad times and some poor choices this year, but I've learned from them and so they don't matter now.
1. Pushing too hard made me fall.
2. Falling made me injured.

Boy that's tough Cate. I hope he can find someone that is good for his family. It sounds like his cruddy ex is still giving his relationships trouble. Hopefully the kids deal with it okay.

Hi Oaks, stopped in to say congratulations on 50% completion! We are both serious streakers!

That's a lot of bball! Congratulations on 175 and the backboard tap!

I hope the outing went well. Congrats on the jeans feeling looser. That's fat loss/muscle gain if the weight goes up while the pants get looser. That's the best because lean body mass burns more...

I agree with LaMa. I think you are eating at the calories you did when you drank.

I'm having to teach myself that getting up on my own is sleeping in regardless of the hour. Staying in bed a long time is a waste of time unless I need it. I guess I thought I'd need it. Sometimes...

LaMa it was a he and he saw it sitting and standing with the same opinion. Thanks!
Well Hana I'd planned on sleeping in, but I have been up since 6:30 instead. I feel fully rested I just have to...

That's awesome! I'd say an 8x PR on the run streak (so far) is growth.

Yep I haven't done a 5k in a long time. Thanks a lot!

Day 16 of the Run Streak
indoor track run
avg hr 157 bpm
So a decent 5K. I worked in the rain today and was feeling rather tired, but once I got going I felt quite good.

I ran a 5K back in March and it was fun. I was sloooow, but it was the first time the race had been done so it was small. It was a trail run which was new to me too. I got a really nice applause at...

I had to look up that game too. I knew the Dutch had "Black Peter". Whatever the backstory/history it doesn't justify white people going around in blackface and Afro wigs. I'm sure the local KKK...

Thanks Cate! Having asthma I've always been prone to chest infections. The asthma has improved greatly and with it the frequency of illness. I was taken off of a preventative asthma medication so I...

I had to look up Krampus. If US kids are bad we get a lump of coal or a bundle of switches. Sounds like a sweet deal in contrast to being abducted by a demon and dragged off into the forest.

A >5 pound drop when you are already at a healthy weight is amazing!
Your post streak plan sounds great! I anticipate half marathons being and eventual goal once the weight is closer to where I...

You are ridiculous, but in the most wonderful way. Good or bad any scale read at the moment is pretty meaningless. Your body is in flux and who knows what it will do in the short term. The only...

I was around two different groups of sick people over Thanksgiving and hugged some of them. Then I came back to work and was around two others that were working sick. Before this would have resulted...

Although I'm glad the weightloss isn't bumming you out, it sucks that dating is such a hassle. I'm so unqualified to give dating advice, but maybe trying to find ways to interact with women outside...
