panniculectomy

Welp its been9 awhile since I posted, but just to refresh Im 17 now about to turn 18 and in the past few years I dropped about 120 lbs, which left me with a big apron like skin draping off me.
Well I decided to get a panniculectomy finally even though im only 17 I just couldnt stand it.
Well its about 9 days after surgery and I swear my stomach is swollen bigger than the skin before surgery...i know swelling is normal but how long does swelling take to go away? Im pretty sure it isnt fat. So can anyone give me any info on how long swelling takes? I mean I know its only day 9 but if it stays like this Im going to have a panic attack....I cant ask my surgeon for another 10 or so days when i go back to him.
