So I'm getting ready to do the mad dash to make everything in time to get it on the table for the Turkey Day Lunch & got to thinking about ingredients... mainly the ones in Pecan Pie since I was going to do the grocery run today. What hit me is that Karo syrup I typically use is PURE HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. One of the main things I am trying to completely cut from my life. I love pecan pie & there is no way I can't make one, or I would NEVER hear the end of it. But is there a healthier verison, minus the HFCS?
