need to lose 10lbs.1 month

    i know this is not healthy and i have been cutting my calories down,
    but i am going to the beach so would like to lose 10 lbs. by May.
    has anyone ever tried the no carb diet or anything else that lost
    weight fast. i dont plan to stay on it i just need it for the beach then
    i'll get back on my lower calorie plan. thanks

    Hi

    YEs, I have tried the balanced carb diet called 6WBMO (Six week body make over by Micheal Thurmond). I lost 7 pounds in the first week and 3-4 pounds every week thereafter with a whopping total of 22 pounds in 6 weeks. And I did this by eating 6 times a day and balanced proteins with carbs and veggies.

    Low carbs diets also help your body look more leaner and thinner. I would suggest adding some excercises too; not sure if you have heard of the FIRM; you really see results in 10 workouts.

    A leaner and thinner body.

    wow.. this sounds like a good plan.. you eat regularily... could you explain it a little more? so that i might be able to pick up on it? :D

    ok dreamtobethin....i really don't want to have to order and pay and stuff so, how many calories? what was your starting weight? height? heck would you mind typing out a sample diet you ate???

    Im just like you WM_10... don't wanna start paying for these fad diets that never work. or you loose the weight and then put it straight back on again. it sucks. lol

    Ok here goes

    This diet is different based on your body types.

    Based on the blue print you do on the web site you are given a series of food options; the food prescribed are those that help your body loose wt.

    One of my sample diets includes:

    Eggwhites/Oatmeal or fruit sald for breakfast
    Mid Morning snack; Egg/Fish or Chicken any source of lean protein with half a grapefruit or fruit of my choice (List of fruits which help burn body fat for my body type is provided)
    Lunch - Again any source of lean protein; with a baked Yam or 1/2 cup brown rice; salad
    Pre dinner snack - Lean protein with fruit or salad
    Dinner - Lean protein with Brown rice or veggies or salad.
    The only optional meal is the after dinner snack which is a again some protein with a fruit.

    Of course you are supposed to drink abt 100oz of water a day and all foods beingn consumed should be low sodium or with no sodium. You are not allowed to add salt too to the foods. You need to cook all the food at home but it is worth the hardwork...when you start to see definition in your body and the results.

    There are so many real women I interact with who have seen success on this diet and it is not a FAD diet; infact I had this issue of losing and putting on but because by eating 6 times a day you get your body's metabolism going your body does not put on wt that easily ofcourse like anything in this world you need to watch your portions and make sure if you indulge you atleast burn it out by working out.

    Yes, that is very interesting.
    Sure diet is a complicated thing... it`s good for one and bad for other.. Hoodia worked for me.... even though I am still on a diet.
