Rep Power: 5 | | | What is happening here I changed my eating habits about 6 weeks ago and in that 5.5 weeks time, I love about 9lbs. However, my husband came home over a week ago and I cheated 4 times on meals (ouch!) (chinese, hamburger/fries, fried seafood) and to my surprise I had lost over a pound when I weight in on Saturday, so I got back on track and the scale is showing 2 lbs less than today, which would be about 3 lbs. total loss in the last week. That's the most i've lost in a week and it includes the eating out I did on the 4 meals. Could the tricking our bodies really work? I know 4 cheats was excessive, but the scale is dropping faster than ever now.

Rep Power: 357932 | | | even though you have some cheats in there - you might still consistently be coming in lower on your calories... just keep tracking your calories and see how you're doing.
it could also be hormonal fluctuations that caused the drop...

This holds even more true when there is a lot of weight to lose.... i.e 30+ lbs |

Rep Power: 5 | | | When I ate those cheats, the remainder of the day, I still held my good eating habits. I'm thrilled to see the scale this morning though. The only other thing I can think of is when I started eating right, at that same time I began a different for of birth control pill, so I'm wondering if my body held on the weight a little more the first month due to hormonal changes, like maleficent mentioned. Now I'm on my second month of those pills, so maybe my body is adjusting better to the switch. Whatever it is, it's wonderful news! btw: hubby is gone out of town again, so no cheats anymore this week.
