Rep Power: 12 | | | I've been wanting to do something like that, but something every week rather than every day.
My change for this week: walk home from work in the afternoons like I did today, regardless of whether I work out or not. |

Steer cleer of weekend bingeing by following these rules of thumb:
1. Bring bottled water with you everywere.
2. Put an apple or other healthy snack in your purse/car/whatever you are traveling by so when the urge to eat arrives you have something healthy to snack on and won't as be tempted to indulge.
3. If you really want to 'treat' yourself, try a SMALL portion to see if it satisfies your craving.
4. Weigh the pros and cons of eating that piece of cake- do you really want it or are you just eating out of bad old habits?
Good luck! |

Like last night I made enchiladas & normally I would have just plopped 2 down on my plate, but I just put one & decided I would come back for the second one.... I never did. I wasn't hungry after the first. I would have eaten the second if it had been there, but I decided not to.
Sometimes a little is just enough. Bigger isn't always better, unless that is what you are trying to become! |

Rep Power: 0 | | Change for today-
Implement variety into your life in both your eating and fitness regime. Even if you don't think you will like something or havent in the past, try it today- you may be surprised to find your previous distaste has vanished!
I DESPISED mashed potatoes and rice when I was younger and would sit at the table until 9pm, when I would then be forced to gulp them down with milk. I tried them both again 2 years ago and now love both!
I used to eat scrambled eggs for every meal from the age of 3-5. Then, i suddenly loathed even the sight of them until I tried them again three years ago!
It's amazing how much your taste buds change. Be creative and be daring! |

Rep Power: 22 | | everyone who hasnt tried salmon should try it - especially the tinned sort (just saying this because ive just spoke to a couple of people who hadnt tried it)
its very yummy and is an ideal filling for baked potatoes, or to go with salads or on a sandwich. and its fab for protein and we all know thatprotein keeps you fuller for longer
sorry for this being such a random post but it is something new to introduce to our lives haha |

Man....But I love coffee! French Press...freashly ground One day I'll give it up. As for now I'll stick to a low intake + the 2 cups of water per 1 cup of coffee!
I wonder if Honey would be a much better substitute for all the white refined suger I use... |

Change today-
Eat every 3-4 hours and only eat small meals! |

Rep Power: 16 | | | So true about the cake! My best friend attended this workshop where they told her that if you eat slowly, it's only about the first 3 bites of a rich dessert that you really enjoy and the rest is automatic eating without much pleasure. If more people realise this, those coffee and cake places that serve such big portions you leave two thirds on the plate will be in a bit of trouble! |

Rep Power: 0 | | Here are my suggestions:
-serve food in small plate.
-drink 8 glasses of water a day. (min)
-do not buy juice, mayo or other products which are not so healthy. If I cook for guests then I buy ingredients only for that occasion.
-do not eat between meals
