Keep in mind you don't need a gym for your strength training , I just use 5lbs weights I bought at modells with a yoga mat and some strength training excercises I print online. Well I'm no expert so I guess I should say I don't think you need a gym for the weights

You certainly don't need a gym. But you DO need progressively heavier weights. And static-weight DBs are not going to give you that.

I've been mostly just increasing my reps when I find I can't feel the "burn" anymore , is that okay ? I probably started with 3 sets of 10 of each excercise and now I do 15. I am about 2lbs away from my original goal weight now , should I get heavier weights to maintain or just let things be?

Adding more reps is not the answer. That will merely build muscular endurance. Adding weight is the name of the game.

"Staying on Topic "

Oh and I love bread - whole grain is good , you get used to it. White might have the same calories but its nutritionally kind of useless unlike whole grain.
