Are you 100% sure that everything else is totally equal? Were you eating exactly the same way otherwise? Those things have so many
calories that I would be fairly shocked to find that dropping them alone actually changed metabolism enough to make that kind of a difference. You would have to burn up over 1,000
calories a day to lose 2
pounds a week, plus you've got the
calories of the actual drinks you have to burn through.
Let's say you are drinking just 1 can of Monster per day, for 300
calories. Basically what you are saying is that the lack of
energy drinks is putting a 1,330 calorie dent in your metabolism. I seriously doubt that is the case. Drinking one can of an
energy drink is not going to boost your metabolism by burning up over 1,300
calories a day. IF that were the case, hell, I could get rich writing a book called "The
Energy Drink
Diet". What's the point of exercising and
dieting if we can just chug one of these high calorie cans?
