Any Suggestions about Sportbrain iStep x1?

I saw this pedometer & it sounds great. Looks could be more attractive, I love my Sportline 360, but this one uploads to a computer to chart out progress. I love that idea. I already log in my totals in an excel sheet to chart my progress & encourage me to beat yesterdays distance today... but this sounds much simplier.

My question is 1- has anyone else had any experience with one of these & 2- would you recommend it?

Seems like a low price to have all the features, but could just be me.

Thanks for any input.

Ive seen a few different pedometers that you can connect into a website and record your info..

as much of an inspector gadget type as I am -it's too gadgety for my tastes but it looks cool and if it motivates you to actually do more then all the better.

The biggest problem I'm finding with pedometers of late is their inaccuracy... I finally gave mine up because every tme I walked it'd come back with a differernt mileage and step count...
