Rep Power: 2049 | | Pictures reveal the weirdest things Morning,
So! In preparation for my immense 3 month workout plan, I took pictures of myself in a (gasp!) bikini. Had to root about my closet to find one - I think it was from my college days.
Anywhos, in my front picture, I noticed something really weird - I don't stand up straight. 'Matter of fact, I tilt at about an 85 degree angle to the right. I never realized this before! And my back photo showed the same thing, just in the opposite direction.
So one goal this year is to, well, teach myself better posture. True, I do have knock knees and other physical problems, but hopefully I can do at least *something* to stand taller.
Anyone else get blindsided by what the camera revealed?

Thanks for the suggestion, Steve. I've been watching myself in the dojo mirrors now and (silly as it sounds) practicing standing upright. We'll see how things progress over the weeks.
I just tried Yoga for the first time in my life, and wow, not only do I lean over when standing up, it's almost impossible to straighten my legs when striking a pose in the air! It's quite weird - I tell my body, okay legs, straighten, and then...well....they try but can't.
I figure with time and practice, more flexibility will arrive. But it's quite eyeopening to learn what your current abilities are (even if the answer is a wee bit depressing).
Data points,

Rep Power: 6 | | Did I ever? I used to not have anywhere near a double-chin and in the last few years I have really developed a bad one.
Funny thing is....I really don't feel like I have one but when the camera snaps a pic...it is there
Quite embarrassing really but I am working on it
