Milk...yes or no?

Once again ive been reading on line about weightloss and all the junk that belongs with it, and ive come across Milk. Some say you should have a few glasses of milk per day, and others say that drinking milk during a "diet" or rdrinking milk while you are "wanting to lose weight" doesnt help at all. Me..i love milk..I cant get enough of it! I usually have 2 glasses a day sometimes more. I was just wondering you your opinions on milk are!

Thanks

I have never liked milk - i was forced to drink it as a kid but once i moved out -it goes in my coffee and that's it.. I do like yogurt and cheese so I don't worry about calcium...

A couple of weeks ago, the grocery store had milk in glass bottles which sounded so good... so i bought one -- got home poured a glass with some peanut butter on toast -and I still don't like milk

the milk board wants you to beleive that calcium helps with weight loss - and it might - the anti milk contingent says milk is full of hormons and other nasty stuff you don't want in you...

If you enjoy it -and can drink the stuff -well enjoy - just keep track of the calories but don't expect it to have any magic properties to aid in weight loss - use more calories than you take in is the weight loss magic (normally I'd charge 9.97 for that piece of advice but i'm feelign gernous today

I love milk, just drink it sparingly now-a-days.

I just have milk in coffee sometimes, and I drink it every morning over my cereal. I never just drink milk by itself, though.

I used to drink 1/2 gallon per day...at least! The last milk I had was yesterday over Raisin Bran. Before that...3 days ago...I think. I've been hitting the water bottle hard!

I don't drink milk, I'm not a cow. (although I may look like one).

I was forced as a kid, but as an adult I don't drink it. In the past when I would lose weight, I lost it without the aid of it.

Not to mention that I am lactose intolerent, so I've skipped it, and still lost.

i use nonfat milk in my protein shakes, frankly because it tastes better than water. I also drink milk in the morning when i have a bowl of fiber one. Just keep track of how much you are having because of course it is calories.

I have a cup of skim over my all bran wheat flakes nearly every morning. Occasionally I have a cup with a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich. But I rarely have more than 1 cup a day. It just goes into my daily tracking like anything else I consume.

For those who don't like milk, broccoli has more calcium Milk is not a vital necessity by any means

God Bless,
mik
