Goal Outfits

I thought it would be fun to show an outfit that we would love to wear at an upcoming weight. It will show a little about our personalities and let us gush over cute clothes lol.

I would LOVE to wear this dress this summer on a cruise I am going on with my friends (I gotta start saving even more money lol). I have never been on a cruise, but I think this would be a good dress for the formal evening wear outfit you are supposed to bring. It comes in a size 14, and these types of dresses tend to fit me at a smaller size since my upper half is smaller than my lower half, so I think its reasonable for me to get to this size (right now I would wear this sort of dress in a size 18)

Have fun!

I couldn't figure out how to put the actual picture on here, so I had to do an attachment. If someone could tell me how to post the actual picture on here I would appreciate it.

Goal outfits are another great method when you want to create a diverse weight lost motivation scheme. I don't personally have an outfit pick out per se, but I do know that I would love to fit back into my size 7 jeans for starters!

Goalish outfits have what kept me somewhat motivated through out this adventure... but not final goal outfits -i will generally buy the next size down and then use it as a motivator to get into it - so I can wear it.

I've got two far off goal outfits right now, one I bought because the price was right -a really cute swimsuit (lily pulitzer) with pink flowers and way preppier t han i am but it was 110 dollars originally marked down to 3 dollars... couldn't resist -It's a size 10 and wil probably never fit my boobs -but the rest of it will fit.

my second outfit is a beautiful Tahari black dress... very simple, very classic and very me - in a size 8 - that actually goes on but doesn't zip... but it will -in about 30 ish pounds... I hate having to wait that long but -eh -the price was right.

yeah i have to admit. Goal clothes helped me a ton.

Friends would give me stuff that was slightly to small and i would have to fit into it. all those old clothes i kept because one day i might fit into them really came in handy!

The biggest bonus was when i found some of my sisters old stuff without realizing in a bag in a wardrobe, and me and my daughter tried it on, and it fit both of us (bit tight on me, bit loose on her)!

I have a goal wardrobe. The clothes I fit into 5, almost 6 years ago when I got back from Mexico. Almost all my clothes were 'summer' clothes so I bought and bought and have tons of pants, jeans, sweaters, suits, shirts etc. etc. Then, I grew out of them.
So when I reach my first big goal I will have a bunch of 'new clothes'. They are size 16. I'm only 5'2", but I'm a 'big boned girl'. I will never be tiny, I just don't have the build for it. My Mom isn't like that either, she is built a little smaller than me, but is still 'hippy'. My Dad said that even as a child I was very solid. So I have no illusions of getting into size 4's or something like that. We'll see when I get there, but I'm guessing by the time I get to my final goal weight I will be very similar to my Mom, size 10 or 12...which I will gladly take over 26/28.

I don't have a specific outfit in mind. But I think that this sewing pattern is cute, and I'd like to be able to sew this when I get to my desired weight, and look good in it. I would like to be able to wear more form fitting garments.

Thumbs up Sleeveless karate gi!

Hi all,

My goal outfits have always been my sleeveless karate gi, camoflauge pattern!

I will confess; I recently bought a Macgyver T-shirt from eBay in size small Adult - ah, it looks super. Gotta love Macgyver.

Enjoy,

Barbara

lol I have some clothes stuffed away in drawers that friends gave me years ago for when I lose the weight. One thing I would LOVE to be able to do is share clothes with my 3 best friends. They wear around a size 8-10. We have this tradition of going on a week long trip every summer and its quite depressing to see them getting all decked out in each others clothes....throwing shirts across the room that they think would look good with the other persons new skirt or whatever lol.

My goal outfit

I'll settle for boxers instead, though. As long as I get to keep the big goofy grin.

I've always been an undercover girly-girl. I looooove skirts and dresses, but I hate my legs....and chafing is not fun. I would love to be able to walk without the inside of my thighs touching....when I get to that point, I'm wearing nothing but skirts and dresses for a year
