Hey, I'm new to these forums, but they seem like a nice place to be for asking for advice. Soo, I have some questions for you guys
Can every body, with enough weight training and low enough bf%, acquire a cut abdominal section (A.K.A 6-pack)?
I was able to reach 204 in my diet, but now I can't seem to reach that point. I'm at 212 when I measured, and I seem to be gaining weight fast, but according to the 3500 cal/pound rule, that would mean I consumed about 28000 calories extra in about a 2-3 week period? I still ate, on average, 2000-2500 calories a day, going up from my 1200-1400 a day. It seems like after switching to the new diet, I can't lose weight. I'm a male, who works out every week day, along with 1.5 miles of cardio, but is it still possible that 2000-2500 cals a day is too much? If it matters, I workout for about 1-1.5 hours with a friend, a different body part each day. My goal weight is probably in the high 170's, low 180's. If I needed to, I could go back to my low cal diet, which I will post for you guys right now:
Morning: Protein Shake w/ milk - 200 cals
Lunch: Tuna wrap - 220 cals
After-workout: Protein shake + apple - 270 cals
Dinner: 2 Eggs in a wrap + Apple - about 370 calories
Late snack: Little snack fudge bar - 120 calories.
This adds up to . . . 1180 I think exactly. During the times I eat that many calories, I can lose at least .5 pounds per day on workout days.
