The unexpected stress of life+weight loss

So, I fell of my weight loss plan on the second day because life happened. Now I wouldn't say my weight loss plan was unrealistic at all but here's the thing. I came down with a terrible viral infection in my mouth (I happened to have a dentist appointment, and that's what they diagnosed me with), and my gums, (as well as the roof of my mouth) were in such terrible shape, I couldn't even eat a banana. So I basically lived off of chocolate milk all week, and didn't exercise because I couldn't find the energy to do it.

I'm frustrated now. I was feeling very enthusiastic about this weight loss I wanted to make, but then life came at me.

How do you cope with life, and getting back on the bandwagon?

well you have to eat, so don't be down on that, stress happens. The key is not heading in to bad habits, or choosing the wrong kinds of foods.. *cough*chocolate milk*cough*.. lol.. (no offense) .. that will not be beneficial to your goal. When I am stressed I go to the gym, or go for a walk. If I want that piece of chocolate I have it. Deprivation leads to binges sometimes.

Just breathe, remember you are in control of when and what you put in your mouth, and take one day at a time.

Hope your teeth heal soon!
