Just one of those days, damn it.

okay well things are going pretty well still, but I am starting to fade energy wise. Not sure if it is a motivational issue or not eating enough foods for energy, fat, etc. Something is just off in recent days, just don't have the zest I used to have, and the bad foods lately are looking very tempting, lol. Co-workers ordered a large 4-cheese pizza, and I was just sitting there eating my fat free pretzels and carrot sticks, thinking to myself why am I doing this again. I guess that happens when we go from having whatever foods we want at random and drinking Mountain Dew like it was my only source of fluids to a strick diet and no pop for the last two and a half months. Topping that with biking 30-50 miles a day. For the longest time I didn't miss the bad foods or drinks, but with everyone else in my family eating as they please and drinking as they please. Just a hard day. Just keep moving, tomorrow is another day. I am sure we all go through this. The funny thing is, the thing I miss the most is having a snickers candy bar every once in a while. God I love those evil things. I saw they have an energy bar made by snickers but didn't read the wrapper I am guessing , just a made up wannabe healthy treat that is far from actually being healthy. Sorry for blabbing, I feel that just writing my thoughts actually helps me relieve the temptations. I have lost 21 pounds, I am the healthiest I have been in a long time. I am in my ideal weight range and I have an BMI % of 22.6. Just have to remember how I got there in the first place. Right?

I'd be pretty pissy if that was my lunch.

Seriously, that is how much your ride every day? Could that maybe be why you are tired? That is quite a bit of exercise for everyday.

Why can't you have one every once in a while? Does it lead to 20 more? Otherwise, I think you are doing plenty enough to allow yourself a snickers once a month or so!!

You are doing great! Try getting a bag of the snack size snickers, they are tiny little ones, and have one every once in awhile. When you don't allow yourself treats, you will binge one day out of frustration. Keep up the good work!

Mal honeslty if I thought I had any talent like the rest of you in writing I would, but the reality of it is I am not a strong speller. Or I have a small issue with writing a diary. It is a good idea, I just feel if I started one it would last a week tops and then poof. Thanks for the support gang trying not to sulk, or worry to much just been a bad day. Haven't done anything with the temtations and I won't just need to get over the hump. Thanks again.

And yes biking is my newer passion. I would like to be able to do 60 miles a day at some point but time is a factor, so I do what I can. Just love it and helps as a great cardio tool.

Starting to feel better already. Maybe it is time for a journal.

Unless you can't stop with one, there's no reason not to have a candy bar periodically. As long as it's not periodically as in ever day. :P

Keep your head up

Its ok to cheat every now and the on a diet as long as you keep on doing what youre doing. Dont let yourself eat to many bad foods. But cheating once a month is alright. It's almost like a treat to keep you motivated. You reward yourself.

Hey! Dont be so hard on yourself. It's a new life it's going to be hard, but it's worth it!!! I agree with the others moderation is the key, I don't know personaly yet, I've only lost 7lbs. But I've read so many diary's etc around here, and lots of other great info... We are here to support eachother and not judge. I allso am for what ever reason a very bad speller. I love writing and have a diary. You are who you are, being a bad speller is part of who I am. Don't be self consiouse, this is not the place for that. This is a place for support, information and encouragment. I feel self conciouse too sometimes, but oh well that's how it goes.

No worries... Sart up a diary, I'll read it my non spelling friend! And go get yourself a baby snickers! My question to you is are you getting in enough calories for all the exersice you are doing? Could that be why you are worn out?

Hope2 (see you around )

Honestly regarding the caloric intake. I am starting to wonder the same thing. I didn't keep a journal but I have been doing the numbers from the last few days and I might be slightly low for the amount of cardio I do each week. I also realized I am not getting nearly enough carbs in my diet. So I will try to evaluate the numbers and run a fine tooth comb through it, lol. We went to see the movie Leatherheads, it was cute but slow. The funny part was like many others we have a habit to get a snack for the show. I bought a bag of licorice the pull and peel kind yummy. (was thinking a pat on the back treat) Read the nutritional data, and didn't even open the package lol. Gave it to my kid. He was kind said he would eat it later and not in my face, good kid. So I had a cup of water hmmm, hmmm good. So I think I will start a journal in the proper section thanks gang. I hope in time I may be able to return the support if needed. Very much appreciated.
