Hi everyone, I was looking for a weight loss community to find out if I am the only one in this situation.
Sex: Male
Age: 28 years Body: Average/Strong Built
Height: 5'11"
Eating Habits: Average
Exercise: Low Fat: belly
Non smoker
Weight: 200
Ok so here is the situation, I lost 30 pounds last winter (230 to 200) by cutting my meals in half. No snack or pop, trying to avoid potatoes & white bread. It took me a month which seems to be ridiculously quick. Now I want to go down to 175lbs and again, I moved from 200 to 195 within 4 days.
I am actually losing an average of 1 lb a day with no effort. However I like Math and I know that a pound of fat is 3500cal...I am cutting 1000cal a day at most so how is it possible? Are there any chances that something is wrong with my metabolism? Have you ever heard of this situation? When I eat as usual, I am not loosing or gaining weight.
Of course I am not complaining but trying to understand if there is something wrong.
Thank you!

Have you looked up how much you're burning a day?
Weighing 220, I would burn 2,500 calories just by lying in bed; so you burn a substantial amount more doing average things. Also, it may just be water that you've been retaining due to high salt/sodium intake.
As long as you're having enough calories per day, you're fine.
