Hi guys im new here but thought I would give a really important tip as my first post
Starving yourself can actually make you gain more weight in the future. Basically what happens here is your body thinks you really cannot find food and when you do eventually eat again it stores it back double to prepare for the next time you may "starve."
That makes sense right? There are other reasons obviously why you should not starve yourself but this one is important enough for you to avoid it!
Anyways looking forward to being part of this forum
before you made your first post you really should have read around the forum quite a bit and found that one your signature will tick off moderators and 2 - the info in your first post - is well documented around here by people who arent trying to whore a book
when you do eventually eat again it stores it back double
Do you have any references from doctors or scientists to back up this claim? Was there a study you read somewhere? As far as I can tell, 1000 calories is just over 4 kilojoules of energy. If you consume more energy than you use, you'll store it as fat. I don't understand your point that the body somehow doubles the storage. You burn what you use, you store what you don't.
This reminds me of the episode of South Park where Cartman goes on the Maury Show (at least I think it was Maury?) as an out of control teenage girl and he keeps shouting "Whatevah! I do what I want!"
Well the first thing I did was empty out my fridge. I made sure that there wasn't even condiments in the side compartments. The biggest issue one faces in an initial starvation is keeping away from anything that could be seen as nourishment. After that the starvation was a breeze.
