Rep Power: 10 | | | Best Sports Bra? Ok sorry guys...but for all you women...you know the deal a sports bra is key especially during cardio. I did 45 minutes yesterday (usually only do 30 at a time) and discovered my back was killing me after and that maybe my sports bras are not so great. Any suggestions as far as better brands etc? |

Rep Power: 217 | | 1. Make sure you are wearing the proper size bra.. most women do not - as mentioned above -GET FITTED.
2. Try ona bra and bounce around in the fitting room
Depending on your cup size is the bra you should be wearing - if you're bigger than a C cup -look for high impact sports bras.. |

Rep Power: 217 | | what makes you think it's your bra then? Are you very busty? (I'm way too well endowed - and have never really had a problem.. ) I personally like the high impact sports bra from The Gap or the really ugly Victoria's secret sports bra... they keep the boobs from bouncing.
How's your posture when you're working out?
Are you sure you're not leaning over or leaning back or doing something else that could be contributing to the pain?
Do you get bacak pain any other time? |

Do you get bacak pain any other time? | yeah a double d (before the weight gain a d so I'm used to there being enough in that area) I have a few from victorias secret and a few from a sporting goods place. It used to happen every once in a while before I gained weight if I was doing an hr or so of some sort of cardio
I thought posture may have been it but I made sure my back was straight.
My back usually doesn't bother me at all and where the pain was it seemed to make the most sense that that was the issue. Plus there was a little tenderness up front. |

Rep Power: 217 | | the problem with a lot of the bras sold at sporting goods stores -is that that they're designed for women who wearing a sports bra is more optional and an accessory - than mandatory to avoid black eyes not to mention breast tissue damage.
When you did the bounce test - did your breasts stay in place or did they bounce a bit...

Rep Power: 10 | | | the ones at victorias secret felt like they held better (the ones from the sporting goods place I got more for going out walking our weight training etc) there was slight movement but everything felt pretty held down lol and I don't know could it be the fabric stretching out? I bought them not too long ago |

Rep Power: 12 | | I guess this is one advantage of being blessed with a "compact' form.
But, I have noticed that even with my itty bitty top side, my sports bras that I purchased less than 3 months ago are losing their support. They were just the Hanes 3-pak...but that firm compression that they started with has disappeared. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Boobs, Bras and Bouncy Bits I've very recently started jogging in an attempt to loose 10lbs to a stone. I am fairly slim but i have quite a big bust. I'm a 34E and in need of some jogging support as i am TERRIFIED of them going saggy from jogging (as i read an interesting article on boobs and jogging on the BBC website).
Can anyone suggest a really good sports bra for this please? |

Rep Power: 217 | | there are a few other bra threads as well...
Your first step is to go to a lingerie store and get properly measured.. and make sure you are wearing the right size....
Then yuo want to try on what's comfortable for you - and what keeps the breasts in place which means trying them on in he fitting room and bouncing around..
Once you've found a bra that fits... then you can spend some time looking around the web for better pricing.. but I would never buy one tried unseen...
Women who have a B cup - it doesn't really matter what type of bra they've got it's more about fashion that function.. Once you move into C, D, DD, and bigger- Function matters... and you need to see how the bras fit your breasts... |
