I'm building out my links section on my website and was interested to hear links that you, the members, use on a continual basis for reference. Anything that you've found helpful really with regards to training, weight loss, etc.

Here are a few I have probably got the most help from here and rosstraining.com but I figure that might be competition) here are a couple I don't see thrown around here too often though.

Thanks, I have that one. I've been getting nutrition action for a long time... it's a nice little publication and that's a good website.

I have cooking light on there now, I'm not sure if I have the first one or not... I'll add it to the list. So far I only have the links from my favorites list on my work computer on the site... I still have to go through my 3 computers at home.

Conversion calculators are always good. I'm finding more and more how packagers use metric and English units to confuse things. This weekend I bought a pack or cashews that weighed 2.75 oz. but the serving size was in grams. No servings per package or anything. I didn't have a calculator with me, but it would have been nice to know as I'm eating it, what IT is. I use this one:

Online Conversion - Various Cooking Conversions and Calculators

but I know that there are better ones.

Nutrition.gov

Quackwatch

this one I reference a lot - it's got a fairly accurate review of most of the "fad" diets out there...
Diet Guide - Compare Popular Diets and Weight Loss Plans - Health.com

this one also has a lot of reviews -though not quite as good as the above
Free Online Diets | Low Carb Diet Plan and more…

National Institutes of Health (NIH) - Home Page

While far to cerebral for most - occassionally I've seen some good articles -or i've seen references to the original journal article in other articles:
Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism

Cool Running :: running run training marathon runners jogging jogger joggers runner run fitness exercise diet weight loss nut...

Drugs.com | Prescription Drugs - Information, Interactions & Side Effects
(i like this site - especially for side effects on various medications

Healthline - Health Search Engine and Medical Information

WebMD - Better information. Better health.
Mayo Clinic medical information and tools for healthy living - MayoClinic.com

This site - might also give you more ideas -
Webby Nominees
I beleive there's a category for health and/or fitness

Forbes magazine also does a best of the web as well...

Thanks everyone... some of these I know of others I don't. I'll have to do some research before I put any of them up on the site. The journal sites I have... I'm not sure I'll put them up or not. Some of the other ones seem interesting.

A conversion calc is a great idea... if anyone knows of a good one please pass it along.

Thanks Mal.

I'll have to hit Liz up... she's good with that stuff. My BMR calc is hers as you know... fits my site perfectly.
