I am hoping that the certification will help me continue on my path of a healthy lifestyle. Rep Power: 10 | | Hi
Im pretty good to myself when i hit my mini targets! I love to see the weight coming off, but i also love the confidence that it gives me, so i do things that make me feel and look better! (i am very vain i fear!)
So here are my reward plans for when i reach
234 lbs (16 st 10lbs) - sky high stilletos that i have wanted for ages
224 lbs (16 st) - Some new summer clothes
210 lbs (15st) - Some gorgeous new underwear
199 lbs (14st 3lbs) - Tattoo on my lower back (always wanted one!)
INTO THE 100s!!!!!!
189 lbs (13st 7lbs) - Some lovely 'proper' gym clothes - the tighter vests and
trousers, and some shiny new trainers This will encourage
me to keep exercising!
182 lbs (13st) Hair cut and coloured, manicure, pedicure
175 (12st 7lbs) Have wedding dress corset dyed and skirt made from the
skirt fabrid - i will finally be able to fit back into it! This is goal that i am looking forward to most as this would be the
exact weight i was on my wedding day!
168 (12st) Belly button pierced! Book holiday to Asia for 5th wedding
anniversary
Maybe after that i will try to lose a few more pounds but i will be ecstatic when i reach 168
Sorry for the very long post but was a great thread and really made me think about my goals and (most importantly!) the rewards that they will bring!!! |

Rep Power: 41 | | I'm not going to treat myself so much for a weight goal as a running goal. When I can run 5 miles, I'm going to get a new ipod (either a micro or a shuffle.) When I can run 10 miles I'm going to get one of those gps watches. Right now I'm up to 3.7 miles and trying to up it a half mile a week. That puts me with the ipod some time next month and the gps some time in the middle of summer, if I can keep up the increases. |

Rep Power: 25 | | My favorite way to celebrate my weight loss is for sure buying clothes in teeny, tiny sizes! Usually from the thrift store, but occasionally brand spanking new. I try to always have a skirt or pants waiting in my closet that are much too small, and I try it on REGULARLY. It's a great motivator and feels so wonderful when it fits! It's also a treat to get DH to take more pics for me to post on this great site!
Oh yeah, I also LIVE to update my ticker below! It's been a while now...
Cheers

Rep Power: 6 | | I don't know if this is so much a reward, rather than just documentation, but I started getting my pictures taken more often. I got them at 90 pounds, and now at 105. Hopefully the results will appear more obvious to me this way. Always looking for clothes in the next size down, so that isn't so much as a reward, but I have been buying more shoes. (I'm going to need a new closet by the time I'm done.)
I got a tattoo about 2 months ago, a butterfly with my initial. When I am done I plan on finishing it off with 3 smaller butterflies with my kiddos initials. Hmm, other than that, we are trying to plan a 3rd cruise, but I honestly don't want to go until I'm at my goal, so we'll see there. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Alternatives to food as a reward Hey everyone,
Firstly, mods: if this is in the wrong section, then please feel free to move it.
I have a terrible habit of using food as a treat or reward, for example if I complete a big assignment or something I'll allow myself an ice cream, or something like that. I'm basically just wondering if anyone has suggestions for little things I could use as a yay-I'm-finished-treat or a well-done-reward?
I'm a student, so don't have cash to buy things, which is why food often gets used - it happens to be in the cupboard anyway, and so isn't an extra expense I can't afford! Add to that is the fact that food is my big vice; I don't smoke, do drugs, whore around...I just really enjoy good food.
So, there's the situation. If anyone has any suggestions they'd be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Meg.
