Its a shame that they put so much salt and extra fat in foods, I think it is totally unnecessary. Those foods are definitely not for a 1200 diet, that's for sure. But someone who burns 2500 cal/day can have one of those things once in a while without any effect. If you metabolize all the fat you eat, it does not have a chance of clogging arteries.

I'm going to add Chili's Quesadilla Explosion Salad to this list.

I had the for dinner the other night, only to find out the next day that it has 850 calories!

Its a good salad, but not *that* good.

Wow.. thanks for posting that.
Geeze... never would've guessed some of that was THAT bad... specially the chicken soup.

I don't eat any of the other stuff though... but that chicken soup really surprised me.

Same with me - I never eat anything but the chicken soup but I guess I should have known - it's unbelievable the amount of sodium in foods these days, that's how they keep them fresh for so long, it's the processed foods - yesterday I ate really good and my sodium was STILL like 600 mg. That's not bad considering some of those item have more than that in them! Just have to stick to fresh foods and organic fruit and that and know that you can NEVER trust a fast food place to provide low-fat alternatives!

None of that really came as a surprise to me. Except the herb grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables at 530 calories really didn't seem all that bad to me, as long as its really big enough to be a COMPLETE meal in itself. Also the high sodium content of soup, if you're working out and sweating alot, the extra sodium probably won't kill you, as noone lives on soup alone.
