500 lbs

I heard the other day that over 2 million people are over 500 lbs. Now I know there are a lot of overweight people and I have helped many while being a GNC manager but over 2 million that is a lot.

If you need help it is out there and people are willing to help. And if you are reading posts in this forum website that is a start. Keep moving forward.

Eat right, exercise and the weight shall follow. Good luck.

You helped a lot of super morbidly obese people working at GNC?
I've been working hands on with this subset of the population for a number of years now and I've yet to come across one that frequents supplements stores... so this is surprising to me.

To add, the help that they need generally goes well beyond what our society is set up to handle now. Doctors and therapists don't have a clue.

It's not a clear cut situation/solution.

I buy my vitamins and protein powder from GNC. They have never prevented me from shoveling food in my face at any time though...

Sorry for the confusion but the people that I helped were over weight, I was not trying to say I was helping people over 500 lbs. Just trying to comment on what I heard.

If someone walked into a GNC and asked for help with weight loss can you imagine the amount of crap they would walk out with (if they were ignorant/gullible).

Nope. I didn't realise this was a post about GNC. I thought it was just a general "You can do it" sort of post

I don't even know what GNC stands for.

Those are my thoughts. In my time I've yet to find an employee of one of those stores who gave unbiased advice. Or was qualified to give advice in the first place.
