People need to move away from this idea that any food "aids in
weight loss" or has
weight loss as a "benefit" of eating that food.
Food is food. Some food is healthier than others. Eating healthier foods will make it easier to lose weight because you're providing your
body with the proper nutrients. But here is no food that provides any kind of magic bullet benefit.
You will not lose weight faster if you eat coconut oil, or acai berry, or grapefruit, or any other food.
Use coconut oil for it's benefits - which are many - but don't use it because you expect it to give you an "edge" to
weight loss.
