I did a search on "bored" & I didn't find any posts like this, so I decided to make one ;D

I know alot of people including myself, eat when they are bored.. I have a list of things to do instead of eating hanging up on my desk wall. I thought I would share them with everyone. I made alot of them up and got some of them off of google.

On that note, create yourself a throwaway email account, and go to all those free sample sites... and request stuff.. Make up a different middle initial for each one you send to - and then see how many times the companies that say they DON'T sell their mailing lists, actually do...

Go to a Politics site and be disagreeable - take the opposite stance you would normally take and just argue... (Every so often I can sound like a pretty convincing liberal - it scares me..

Make fun of really badly done MySpace pages...

I spent entirely too many years travelling, and way too much time alone with my computer in hotel rooms... I'm not sure i'd want my real identity getting out in some places I go I have my moments but I do try to have fun...

true story with me and voodoo dolls, and not one I made either, it was purchased at a novelty store...

Decades ago, I worked for the most evil person, sexually harrassed all females, had no redeeming qualities at all, cheated on his wife no less than 9 times with different women (that's a crime that is punishable by death by castration as far as I am concerned)- girls acually - women were too smart to fall for his crap - got two differnt girls pregnant (Yeah I know - two to tango- and forced at least one to have an abortion) the stories about this guy i could go on and on- he was basically a prick...

Someone as a joke gave me a voodoo doll... and I wished that my boss was the doll.. I stuck a pin in it's arm.... and a week later, he fell down the escalator at work and broke his arm (I DID NOT PUSH HIM) OK consindence... A few weeks later, I stuck a pin in it's head - two weeks later, he was in a car accident and ended up witha concussion... Ooooops... So, I quit that job and went on withmy life... about a year or two later, I found the doll, and just for kicks... I stuck a pin in it's nether regions... Six months later, he was dead of prostate cancer Honestly couldn't have happened to a nicer guy... I contend I had nothing to do with it..

As god as my witness, he's the only person in my life who has died that I still laugh... (and sometimes i wonder why my karma is so bad)

I worked with someone years ago- who firmly believed that whre i was concerned - I never needed to bother with revenge -b ecause the old expression - what goes around- comes around was always true.. anyone who ever crossed me... ended up getting exactly what wsa coming to them -- maybe not the next day- but all i had to do was watch and wait... It would happen... (and I KNOW there are peopel who are waiting for me to get what's coming to me Fate is a beautiful thing

I needed amusement and this thread needed a bump

I've never been able to make myself burp....a deficiency of my character, no doubt.

Ive got a box of tissues and "hand" moisturizer for the boring times.

I never get any responses from those guys! I've only had a conversation with one go past the first message, and then they never bothered to send a third, even when I was asking questions about what I can do to "help", etc.
*Shrugs*

Things to do when bored:
Figure out how much money you could make with the hair Britney Spears shaved off
Wind up tele-sales people calling unsolicited
Clean/tidy your house
Think up ways to avoid upsetting people with voodoo dolls!
Go window shopping (only for the self disiplined!)
Revise (if you need to for something)
Do coursework (if you have any to do)
For that matter, if you often find your self bored start studying for a new qualification, channel it into something useful!
Join a club
Draw/paint etc
play tetris
