Hmmm this is what I got:

Based on your height, your ideal weight range is between 108 and 121 pounds.

According to the information you have entered, your weight is within your ideal weight range.

So it seems that I just need to tone up rather than trying to lose weight. Btw the weight I put in is 112lbs. Hmmm but then again I was 96lbs (bmi = 20) before and I wasn't skinny then, just normal, slim, but not skinny. Haha..

i had forgotten about this thread - just for grins i measured my wrist again - and it's gotten smaller - i'm still big boned but in another 100 lbs - wonder if that will be the same

Wrist is now 7" - and my 8" bracelet keeps sliding off my wrist - it's become my new worry stone

I am 5'4" and 5-3/4" wrist...makes me small framed...hmmm. my range is 114-127...and that sounds about right...so my goal is pretty straight on.

What? I'm small-framed?

I thought my wrists were thicker than average, but I always just assumed that being overweight went along with having a big frame, but I guess I can no longer use the excuse that I'm just big-boned.

//edit: hold on, my left wrist says I'm small-framed, my right says I'm medium.

So are we sayin that as you lose weight your wrist will not change size and your body type is self determined from your wrist size ?

Yeah, I'm not buying into this wrist thing. When I was heavier, my wrists were visibly fatter. The wrist watch I wore then is way too big now, and I wore it right at the wrist.

My wrists are 5.2" and i'm 5'2.5. So i'm small framed. I always knew that anyway, i have tiny wrist and anklse and really skinny lower arms for some reason- when i lose weight at first i look ill because my arms are so out of proportion, until the rest catches up :P I have strangely wide hips though.

Hmmmm... my wrists are 6.2" and I am 5'9"... that makes me small framed. This completely shocks me... I've always considered myself large framed even when I was a lot thinner. Could I possibly just have small wrists? haha

Right at the edge of my hand where my wrist starts, I have that knobby little bone there. If I measure over that, I'm 6.25, if I measure a little further up the arm, still on the wrist, I'm 6" even. Not sure which one to use. I'm 5'6", so it's either small or medium.

I'm a guy who is 6'2''. My wrist size is just barely 6.75''. So I guess that means I am medium frame. I always have thought I was a large framed guy. I do admit though, my wrists have always seemed really skinny to me.

Wrist size... hmmm. This is where I disagree. Some people put more fat on their wrists and ankles than others. I have slim wrists and ankles but my hip bones are way bigger than most women I know. Also, this way of measuring doesn't take into account the density of your bones. There are big bones and there are heavy bones.

9 1/4" wrists? Man, those are big arms you got there!

Mine are 7 3/4", and I'm 6'0", so I'm just "large".

I actually have lost some fat off my wrists though; my watch is getting really loose.
