Rep Power: 0 | | | Burning many calories at work? I just found out that my job will be extremely active and I will burn about 1650 calories per day just at work. Do I need to exercise on top of this? Do I need to eat more? If I don't eat more does that mean I'll lose a pound every 2days without doing anything else! Please help! |

Rep Power: 0 | | It's standing and using my arms continuously with no breaks in between. I know it burns 330 an hour and I will be doing that for a minimum of 5 hours a day.
So does that mean I could eat an extra 1650 calories a day? |

Go here and figure this out...if you're burning a lot of calories each day, then you WILL have to eat a little more...but you still need exercise. Some sort of cardio, and something to tone the muscles you aren't working while at work! |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I know I burn a lot of cals at work. I read it was 1,000 cals for an 8 hour shift if I just stand there..which I never do. It's crazy. |

Rep Power: 18 | | If you burn 1000 for an 8 hour shift just standing there serving I would love to know how many I must burn on my shifts. I work in a large victorian building with 6 floors and 3 staircases and we are up and down and running all over all day... it's madness. And some of my shifts are 10 hours. (Like todays!) Gotta be a bit of a workout surely. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
