What about alotting a certain amount of points to that time of night, so that you're not going over, but using what you have alotted for the day during a time you really crave?
Then, once you have it, go in brush AND floss your teeth - I mean, REALLY floss every square inch of each tooth.
I've found that when I do that, there's NO way I'm going to eat anything afterwards LOL!
Good luck and I hope you find what works for you |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I save some of my foods till the end of the day when I'm munchy, too. Try munching on carrots or drink extra water? I found that I only want to munch when I'm in the living room, so I try to stay out of there at night! haha Hope you find what works for you! |

Rep Power: 87 | | Try this trick....brush your teeth...sounds crazy, but it works!
Another thing, is keep your hands full...find a hobby...I like to paint or cross stitch when I'm wanting to eat late night. Or you can also try chewing sugar free gum |

Rep Power: 10 | | Like everyone said, plan your meals to allow for some later in the evening if you know you are going to be up. Doesn't weight watchers allow some free foods, such as veggies and such? Snack on these if so. The brushing and flossing does work as well. |

Rep Power: 17 | | Its hard isn't it. What works for me is the removal of temptation - no munchie type food in the house! However, I do often have a bowl of nuts/seeds and low fat yoghurt during the evenings. Its a nice healthy treat, and I have read that its a good time of the day to take fats. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I also remove all temptation. There is never anything in my house that I will binge on. No chips, no candy, no nothin.
So if I am feeling hungry I usually drink a glass of water and wait 20 minutes to see if I really am hungry. If I still am, I will eat a small snack and I always include some protein. Protein keeps you fuller longer.
So even if I choose some raw baby carrots as a snack, I have a little bit of protein with it so that I feel satisfied. Almonds work great. Sometimes I just have a small handful of almonds and water and that makes the hunger go away. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Eating Late at night I have a long commute before I get home. I can't have dinner until the earliest 7:30PM. I am so hungry before I get home, it is tempting to just eat out. I eat my breakfast and lunch at work, and I would hate to also eat dinner at work.
I eat
Breakfast at 9:00AM
Snack at 11:00 AM
Lunch at 1:30PM
Snack at 3:30PM
Dinner at 7:30PM or later =(
Are there any suggestions for this ? |

Rep Power: 217 | | there are multiple threads on this around this forum on this topic -
long story short -it doesn't matter what time you eat -- what matters is the amount of calories you consume in an entire day... so eating at night is not a problem as long as you are staying within your prescribed range.
have a larger snack to tide you over til you get home so the drive thru window won't seem tempting |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I agree, if you adjust your calorie intake for a slightly larger snack at 3, you'll be fine. If it has a good amount of protein and fiber it should help control your appetite further. |

Rep Power: 16 | | What Maleficent said...plus, if it makes you feel any better about eating at night I work nights, ususally don't get home until 10 or 11 p.m. and I always eat a snack or even small meal after getting home...and as long as my calories for the day are in line it made no difference at all when I was losing weight, the period I was maintaining my weight, or now that I'm losing weight again. The only problem I have with it is sometimes when you're tired and hungry (bad combination) it's too easy to make poor choices that screw up your calories. |

Rep Power: 10 | | | Late night snacking.. I'll have my evening meal and be full.. then after its gone down I'll get something else.. worth a point or 2 (or 3) and just think 'I'll have that many points less tomorrow'
I don't know why I do it its not even from hunger?

Maybe you can choose healthy items for your late-night snack - or make sure it is fitting into your daily totals.
