Don't be discouraged. 33.4%
body fat isn't all that bad. I started out at 35.2%
body fat. Now getting it down quick I don't think is possible. This is a gradual process and its long. The best thing of course to do is eat healthy and exercise regularly. Weight training will really help with keeping your lean mass up and decreasing your
body fat. But you need
cardio to lose the
fat. A healthy percentage of
body fat is between 18.1-23.0%. Since I've started my
weight loss journey my
body fat percentage has gone down from 35.2% to 30.5% and my lean mass has gone from 64.8% to 69.5%. Its taken me about 7 months to do this but I know there are people on this site who have probably done it in half that time.
What I do is
cardio for about 45-60 minutes 5 days a week and
weights for 30-45 minutes 2 to 3 days a week. Lots of protein and a decrease in sugar and carbs will help the process. I hope this helps, good luck. Bringing down your
body fat is very possible, so don't be too worried with the starting number just tell yourself that you will bring it down.
